Crispy Mars Bar Squares

Mars Bar Rice Krispies Squares

3 Cups Rice Krispies
4 Mars Bar
  Chocolate Bars
½ Cup Butter

In a sauce pan on medium heat melt Butter. Chop Mars Chocolate Bars in half inch slices and place in saucepan. Stir until mixture has completely melted. Remove from heat and add Rice Krispies, stirring until cereal is completely coated. Pour mixture into small baking pan.

Refridgerate until cool/solid and cut into squares.

Monkey Munch Puppy Chow

9 Cups Crispix
1 Cup Chocolate Chips
½ Cup Peanut Butter
¼ Cup Butter
½ tsp Vanilla
1½ Cups Powdered Sugar

Place Crispix in a large bowl and set aside. In a separate bowl, melt together Butter, Chocolate Chips and Peanut Butter in the microwave on high for about 1 minute. Stir in Vanilla. Pour melted ingredients over Crispix Cereal stirring as you add until well covered. Pour mixture into a large bag (paper or plastic). Add Powdered Sugar and shake until Cereal is coated. Spread mixture out onto wax paper to cool.

Chocolate Banana Cake

Chocolate Banana All-Bran Cake

1 Cup All-Bran Cereal
1 Cup All Purpose Flour
1 Cup Mashed Bananas
1 Cup Chocolate Chips
½ tsp Baking Powder
¼ tsp Baking Soda
½ tsp Cinnamon
¼ Cup Butter
¾ Cup Sugar
¼ Cup Milk
1 Egg

Melt Chocolate Chips in a Double-Boiler. While chocolate is melting, in a medium size bowl, mix together Flour, Baking Powder, Baking Soda, Salt and Cinnamon. Set aside. In another larger bowl, stir together as you add Butter and Sugar, Mashed Bananas, Egg, Milk, All-Bran Cereal and the Melted Chocolate Chips. Add dry ingredients and mix well. Pour mixture into a greased 9 inch square cake pan. Bake at 350 degress for about 30 minutes or until wooden toothpick comes clean after inserting in the center. Allow to cool completely and cut into squares. Makes about a dozen.

Rice Krispies Drumstick Bars

Rice Krispies Drumstick Bars

6 Cups Rice Krispies
1 Cup Corn Flakes
4 Cups Vanilla Ice Cream
1 Cup Chocolate Chips
¾ Cup Butter or Margarine
¾ Cup Peanut Butter
¾ Cup Honey

Finely crush Cornflakes and spread along bottom of a greased 13 by 9 inch pan. This is to make it easier to cut bars out when finished. Melt Butter in a large saucepan. Add Peanut Butter and Honey and stir until it begins to boil. Remove from heat. Add Rice Krispies and stir until cereal is well covered. Pour and spread half of the cereal mixture into pan. Sprinkler half of the chocolate chips evenly across top. Cover with Ice Cream. Sprinkle remaining chocolate chips. Top with remaining cereal mixture and freeze for about an hour or until set. Cut into squares. Makes about a dozen.

* An alternative dessert could be to pour the hot Rice Kripsies mixture onto bowls of icecream and serve as single serving sundaes.

Special K Peanut Butter & Chocolate Squares

6 Cups ‘Special K’
1½ Cups Peanut Butter
1½ Cups Corn Syrup
½ Cup Sugar
1 Cup Brown Sugar

12 oz Chocolate Chips
½ Cup Peanut Butter

Mix Corn Syrup, Sugar & Brown Sugar in a bowl and Microwave on HIGH for about 5-6 minutes or until bubbling. Stir at about the 2 minute mark during cooking. Add 1½ Cup Peanut Butter & mix well. Add ‘Special K’ stirring gently until cereal is completely covered. Spread mixture into greased 13×9 inch pan. Press mixture evenly into pan with the back of a greased spoon. Mix Chocolate chips and ½ cup of peanut butter in small bowl. Microwave on MEDIUM for about 2 minutes. Stir until smooth, and return to microwave for another 30 seconds if needed to melt chips. Spread evenly over Special K mixture. Refrigerate until cool and cut into squares.
